Craig Burley is enjoying having the change to lay into Chelsea – he always does – but it’s quite hard to disagree with him on some of his criticisms of the owners and the disaster at the club right now.
All the talk at the moment is about whether Mauricio Pochettino should keep his job, but Burley turns it around and says that Pochettino never should have taken it in the first place.
He points to the leadership vacuum and the chaos that consumed Graham Potter and says Pochettino was on a hiding to nothing by damaging his reputation by putting himself in the situation.
