45 trainee nurses attacked by armed robbers in upper east region

Two gunmen on motorbikes have attacked a bus carrying 45 trainee nurses of the Presbyterian Nurses Training College, Bawku Friday afternoon

The assailants reportedly fired at the bus in Binduri in the Upper East Region, not too far away from the police barrier.

‘There were no deaths’ but ‘A number of students who were injured due to the attack have been rushed to the Bawku Presbyterian Hospital for treatment’, JoyNews said.

The victims were heading towards Bolgatanga when they were ambushed by the attackers.
