Kevin Taylor releases final words of Samuel Aboagye before the helicopter crash
Controversial Ghanaian political commentator Kevin Taylor has spoken about his last conversation with the late politician Samuel Aboagye, one of the victims of the recent Obuasi helicopter crash.
The tragic crash, which happened in the Sikaman Forest in the Adansi Afuokrom District of the Ashanti Region, claimed the lives of eight Ghanaians. They were travelling in a Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Z-9 helicopter headed to Obuasi.
Speaking on the Monday, August 18, 2025 edition of his online show With All Due Respect, Kevin Taylor paid tribute to Aboagye, describing him as a fine young man whose loss was deeply painful.
He revealed that he and his team had invested heavily in supporting Aboagye’s bid for the Obuasi East parliamentary seat in the 2024 elections. According to Taylor, Aboagye was not only grateful but also showed deep appreciation for the help he received.
“Somebody like Aboagye has been a good friend and everybody knows what I did with my team to try and get him to Parliament, the resources and support we put in.
