A married woman secretly invites lover to have fun at night before husband did the unexpected

According to the report on September 6, 2025, at 8.14 pm a late-night drama shocked residents of Tafo, Kumasi, when a man unexpectedly returned home and found his wife in bed with her secret lover.

The confrontation quickly turned violent, leaving one person fighting for his life in hospital.

According to preliminary reports from the Ashanti Regional Police Command, the incident happened on Thursday night after the husband, identified as Kwame Boadu, came home earlier than usual.

Upon entering his bedroom, he allegedly found his wife, Afia Nyarko, with another man, identified only as Kofi Menson.

Witnesses say a heated argument erupted, and in the chaos, the husband allegedly attacked the intruder with severe force.

Neighbours, who heard loud screams and banging, rushed to the house but found the injured man lying unconscious on the floor.

The neighbours quickly alerted authorities, and officers from the Tafo District Police Station arrived at the scene.

The victim was rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had suffered multiple head injuries.

He was placed in the intensive care unit and is currently in a coma while awaiting emergency surgery.

Police confirmed that both the husband and the wife have been arrested and are being held in custody as investigations continue.

The police say no charges have been filed yet because they are waiting for the victim’s condition to stabilise before deciding on the next legal steps.

However, investigators warned that if the injured man dies, the case could be upgraded to murder charges against the husband.

The shocking incident has sparked mixed reactions among residents of Tafo. Some blamed the woman for infidelity, while others condemned the husband for using excessive force.

Community leaders have since urged couples to seek peaceful ways of resolving domestic disputes rather than resorting to violence.
