Talk to Dormaahene, Otumfuo hasn’t said a word – Kweku Baako tells Minister

Ace journalist and Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr, has stated that any mediation efforts to resolve the growing tension between the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, and the Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, should focus primarily on the Dormaahene.

Speaking via a text message on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show on Monday, September 8, Mr. Baako pointed out that Otumfuo has remained silent throughout the controversy, making the Dormaahene the only party actively speaking on the matter.

“On the issue of the Asantehene and the Dormaahene, tell the Minister that only one of the chiefs has spoken, and it is Dormaahene. He should speak to Dormaahene. Otumfuo hasn’t said anything,” Baako said.

His comments followed an earlier interview on the same show with the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, who revealed plans to form a mediation team to address the tension between the two traditional leaders.

“I have spoken to some prominent Ghanaians to address the issue. Dormaahene is my father as much as Otumfuo. These are part of the powerful kings we have in the country. Their efforts in resolving most issues in the country are very high,” the Minister stated…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
