Tragedy struck the family of an artisan, Aruna Imuekemhe, after he was allegedly killed by his customers during a violent dispute over a piece of furniture he had worked on.

According to a report by TVC News, Mr. Imuekemhe was contracted in April to refurbish some chairs. He completed and delivered the job months ago, but trouble began when one of the customers returned six months later, claiming the chairs were faulty.
Witnesses said Mr. Imuekemhe refused to redo the work, explaining that he had already delivered exactly what was agreed upon. The disagreement escalated into a heated fight, which tragically ended with his death.
Speaking through tears, his wife recounted the heartbreaking moment. “As he got down from the bike after returning from where he had gone, they dragged his shirt until he fell. The other one used his shirt to choke him until he gave up. I want justice for my husband. He didn’t deserve to die,” she said.
Mr. Imuekemhe leaves behind his grieving wife and a young child. His family described him as hardworking and peaceful, adding that his death has left an irreplaceable void in their lives.
