Abronye DC Jabs First Lady Lordina Mahama in First Broadcast

Controversial politician Abronye sparked online backlash after he jabbed Ghana’s First Lady, Lordina Mahama, following her recent speech at the United Nations (UN).

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was arrested on September 8, 2025, over several alleged inflammatory comments he made about the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), and others.

In a video, Abronye slammed Ghana’s first lady, Lordina Mahama, in his first public appearance on his television channel, Ohia TV, after his release.

Lordina delivered a speech at the 7th Annual UN Prayer Service for Children at the United Nations in New York on September 22, but Abronye claimed her performance was below par.

He claimed she had disgraced Ghana and that it was a waste of resources to have flown her out there.
