Man collapses during intimate encounter with young girl

KENYA – A night meant for leisure ended in tragedy after a 42-year-old man died suddenly in a lodging at Koyonzo market, Matungu, Kakamega County, on Sunday morning.

Police reports indicate that the man had checked into the lodging in the company of a woman he was acquainted with. The two booked a room and retired for the night without any signs of trouble. However, events took a shocking turn at around 2 a.m. when the woman rushed to the reception in panic, screaming that the man was unresponsive.

According to an attendant at the facility, the woman said the man collapsed in bed during intimate moments and could not be revived. She is said to have been devastated as she sought urgent help from the staff on duty.

Authorities were immediately alerted, and police officers from Matungu visited the scene. The body of the deceased was taken to a nearby mortuary pending a postmortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.

The incident has triggered discussions in the area, with some residents urging regular medical checkups, especially for middle-aged men, noting that hidden health conditions often go unnoticed until it is too late.

Meanwhile, detectives have launched investigations into the matter and have already recorded statements from the woman and lodging staff. While foul play has not been established, investigators say all possibilities will be considered before conclusions are made.
