Young lady breaks down in tears after her Arab boss did this to her
A TikTok user who said she left Nigeria for a job in an Arab country to become a “shangala” has shared a distressing video claiming her employer has seized her passport and refused to let her leave.
In the video, she said she feels trapped because she is not allowed to travel and the country is unsafe for escape.
The young lady, who initially promised not to cry, broke down in tears as she narrated how her employer refused to return her passport even after she offered to pay for her flight home.
According to her, the boss insisted that she must complete a two-year contract before he would release the document.
She warned others against seeking quick money abroad, explaining that the work was far more difficult and dangerous than she had imagined.
The woman pleaded with Nigerians to think carefully before travelling for similar jobs, urging them not to “lose their soul” in the pursuit of money.
In the TikTok video, she repeatedly said she was “tired” and “weak,” but could not run away.
