Shock as pastor attacked by mob, hands and legs chopped, burnt alive

KENYA – Drama broke out in Nyeri County when angry residents stormed the home of a pastor accused of molesting a minor. The incident, which happened on Monday afternoon, quickly turned violent and ended with the pastor being lynched.

Witnesses said the residents were filled with anger after learning about the alleged crime. A local woman said the mob attacked the pastor, chopping off his limbs before setting him on fire.

She recounted that the man cried and begged for forgiveness, promising never to repeat his actions, but the crowd ignored his pleas.

“He was crying and begging, asking the mob to spare him. But the crowd was too furious to show mercy,” she said.

Police later confirmed the incident and shared details of the allegations. According to their report, the pastor had allegedly targeted a young boy who was sent by his mother to buy something from a nearby shop. He reportedly ambushed the child, dragged him into a bush, and began to abuse him. The pastor also threatened to kill the boy if he ever spoke about it.
