I can’t criticize ‘so clean’ Mahama – Kennedy Agyapong

Former Assin Central MP and NPP flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, has said he has no reason to criticize President John Dramani Mahama and his government just 10 months into his second term.

He has recently been accused of being too soft on the Mahama administration, with some claiming he is seeking payment for government contracts and that this is why he has refused to criticize the president.

Speaking in an interview, Kennedy Agyapong dismissed those claims and made it clear that he sees no need to attack the government at this stage.

“I have heard they are saying I’m not attacking Mahama because government owes me and I want to be paid that is why I’m not attacking Mahama’s government. Ten months in government and what do you expect Mahama to do that you want me to criticize him? We have to be fair,” he said.

He added, “Ten months, even if it was cassava you planted, it would not have been ready for harvesting.”

The former MP emphasized that his attention is on his political campaign and not on criticizing the president.

“I won’t criticize Mahama; I’m focusing on my primaries—Ken Agyapong. I’m not saying that when there is something wrong, we should not say but me, I’m focusing on my primaries,” he stated…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
