Watch how a woman was thrown out of Nana Konadu’s house for crying out loudly
A woman has expressed outrage over what she described as unfair treatment meted out to her at the residence of the late former First Lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, on October 24, 2025.

According to the woman, she had benefited immensely from the late First Lady during her lifetime and had gone to the residence to mourn her passing. However, she claimed she was sacked from the house for making “too much noise” with her crying.
Speaking in an interview with Ghana Eye, she recounted, “My mother is dead, and because of what the woman did for me, I came to cry for her and show my support. But someone told me to leave the house because I was making noise, so I’m going home. I was crying because of all the good things she did for me.”
She continued, “Today, the person who helped us is gone, and we have come to cry for her. Now they are giving us Moses’ laws and bureaucratic rules. I came here to mourn her, but if they have sacked me, I will go home and cry there. I wasn’t done crying.”
The former First Lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 76, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
