Nurse goes missing after leaving home to attend to a private patient

A Nigerian nurse, identified as Ovansa Khadijat, has been declared missing after leaving her home to attend to a patient in the Aiyetoro area of Ogun State.

Her sister, Joy, confirmed the situation to LIB, explaining that Khadijat left their family home in Kogi State about two months ago in search of better job opportunities in Lagos.

According to Joy, Khadijat had previously resigned from her first job because her employer made her work for several days without any rest.

She said her sister recently received a new offer to care for a cancer patient in Aiyetoro, Ogun State. Khadijat reportedly boarded a cab from the Mile 2 area of Lagos to Aiyetoro but has not been seen or heard from since then.

Joy added that the case has been reported to the police for investigation.
