Boy arrested for beating his mom after smoking weed

A teenage boy was on Sunday handed over to security operatives after assaulting his mother at Imo Housing Estate in Owerri, Imo State.

Reports indicate that the boy had earlier been seen smoking weed and drinking with friends before returning home hungry.

When he asked his mother for food and she couldn’t provide any, he emptied the bowl of garri they had on the floor and poured water on it.

His mother reacted angrily, leading the boy to pounce on her and beat her up. An alarm raised by the woman drew the attention of neighbors, who intervened and handed the boy over to security officers…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
