Woe betide any of my appointees who brings scandal, I will hang them on a tree – President Mahama
President John Dramani Mahama has made it clear that no government official found engaging in corruption under his administration will be protected, stressing that his commitment to fighting graft is firm.

He noted that even before becoming president, he had announced that his government would strengthen the fight against corruption, not out of personal motives but to restore trust and credibility.

He insisted that his administration will not repeat this pattern, adding that officials will be held accountable while still in office.
He also revealed that he has consistently warned his ministers and appointees during Cabinet meetings about the consequences of any misconduct.
“I have served notice to my ministers, every day at Cabinet meetings: woe betide any of my appointees who brings a scandal. I will hang them on a tree,” he said, signalling a strict stance on corruption.
President Mahama maintained that restoring public confidence requires firm, fair, and proactive action against corruption, regardless of who is involved…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
