Watch as referee seen running for dear life after a match

The NPFL Championship Playoff match between Kano Pillars and Rangers International of Enugu at the Agege Township Stadium on Monday evening ended in chaos after angry supporters invaded the pitch.

Kano Pillars had taken the lead in the 58th minute when midfielder Rabiu Ali curled in a well-placed free kick.

However, Rangers equalised late in the game after being awarded a penalty in the 87th minute, which striker Godwin Aguda converted to secure a crucial point for the Enugu side.

Tensions rose sharply after the final whistle. Kano Pillars captain Rabiu Ali confronted the referee, Adebimpe Quadri, over the penalty decision.
