Private conversation Mohamed Salah had about his Liverpool future leaked

Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed the private conversation he had with winger Mohamed Salah about his future at Anfield.

Salah recently fell out with Liverpool manager Arne Slot over what he saw as disrespect, as he was benched for several matches and left out of the squad that beat Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Speaking on Amazon Prime, Sturridge said he has spoken directly with Salah.

“Mo has told me, ‘I love this football club. I don’t want to leave this club. This is where I want to be’,” Sturridge said, as quoted by SportBible.

“I don’t know how he is going to feel, but I think there needs to be another conversation between the manager and Mohamed Salah.”
