What I told Rodrygo after Man City defeated Real Madrid – Pep Guardiola
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed what he told Real Madrid forward Rodrygo after his team’s 2-1 UEFA Champions League win on Wednesday.

Guardiola watched his side defeat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu with goals from Nico O’Reilly and Erling Haaland. Rodrygo scored the only goal for the home side.
Speaking after the match, Guardiola said he approached Rodrygo to praise him, calling the Brazilian an incredible talent.
“I went to Rodrygo and I told him: what a player you are… he’s really unbelievable,” Guardiola said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
Rodrygo has had a difficult season under Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso. The 24-year-old has struggled to find form and has gone many games without scoring.
