“Definitely, I intend to run” – Fifi Kwetey confirms bid for re-election

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has confirmed his intention to seek re-election in the party’s upcoming internal elections.

In an interview, Kwetey answered in the affirmative when asked if he would contest the position again. “Definitely, I intend to run,” he said.

He explained that his decision is driven by the need to sustain and deepen President John Dramani Mahama’s reset agenda, which he described as important for repositioning the country and strengthening governance.

Kwetey noted that remaining in office would allow him to help keep the party focused on national interest initiatives rather than narrow partisan concerns.
