You will be forcefully removed if you seeks a third term – President Mahama warned
Ernesto Yeboah, Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Fighters League, has issued a strong warning to President John Dramani Mahama.

Yeboah cautioned the President against listening to calls from within his party to seek a third term, stating that such a decision would end in regret.
He warned that any attempt to extend the President’s tenure beyond his constitutional mandate would face serious public resistance.
According to him, pursuing a third term could trigger civil unrest and may even force the President out of office.
“Anyone who truly loves Ghana would not suggest that President Mahama seek another term,” Yeboah stated.
He described such calls as “pure sycophancy” and said the President must protect his legacy by leaving office when his term ends.
“If Mahama wants to leave behind a lasting legacy, he should resist that temptation because any attempt will destroy it. Look at what nearly happened in Benin. President Mahama should be guided by that because it can happen here in Ghana.”
Asked whether Ghana could experience an uprising if a third-term agenda is pursued, Yeboah was firm in his response.
He said such an action would “justify all forms of usurpation” and plunge the country into chaos.
He added that the situation could force the President to flee the Flagstaff House.
Yeboah also warned that such instability could lead to the formation of new political alliances and coalitions, urging the ruling class to tread carefully.
He noted that President Mahama is currently in an “ideal place” as a leader, adding that even Dr Kwame Nkrumah could have achieved more under similar peaceful conditions.
Speaking on As It Is Ghana on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM in the UK and 87.5FM in Ghana, he observed that criticism of the President has been less intense compared to his first term.
He advised Mahama to protect his current standing and avoid damaging his reputation through what he described as “political greed”…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
