Coup against Mahama, Bloody NPP primaries – 2026 prophecies by Owusu-Bempah
The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has shared a series of prophecies about events expected in 2026, claiming to have received them through spiritual revelations.
Before delivering the prophecies, he explained that God reveals future happenings to give people the chance to pray against negative events.
Rev Owusu-Bempah prophesied on issues including child deaths, a disease worse than coronavirus, the deaths of prominent Ghanaians, the passing of a notable Ghanaian spiritual leader, and aeroplane crashes, among others.
Here are some of his key 2026 prophecies:
Bloody NPP primaries
He warned that the upcoming presidential primaries of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) could become violent if caution is not taken. He urged party members and the public to pray against this.
“NPP, please listen to this. Don’t despise what I’m saying to you… I saw an image which had human characteristics—it was like a human being. And this personality was standing in the midst of the contestants who are contesting in the flagbearership race.
“I saw that the personality…was bleeding, and I was asking God, what is the significance of this? And God said to me that the party’s election, if care is not taken…will become chaotic and there will be bloodshed, and some people will lose their lives in the process, and it will lead to division in the party,” he said.
He added, “Don’t despise what I’m saying. This is not politics; I’m not doing politics here. This is about the lives of people.”
Coup attempt against President Mahama
Rev Owusu-Bempah predicted a coup attempt against President John Dramani Mahama by foreign elements, but said it would not succeed. He called on the public to pray against the plot and urged security agencies to remain vigilant.
“Certain people have planned, and some of the people who are planning…are foreigners who will come into Ghana…All of a sudden, we heard there was a coup d’état,” he said.
He added, “Those who are planning that evil…this is a warning to you because you will not succeed. And so we will pray about it, but the security agencies we have in this nation must be vigilant.”
Death of former Presidents of Ghana
He warned that some former Ghanaian leaders may die in 2026 if prophetic warnings are not heeded, calling for prayers to protect them.
Death of a famous former Ghanaian boxer
He also predicted that a former Ghanaian boxer may die, but stressed that this is not God’s will and can be averted through prayer.
Other prophecies he shared include:
The death of an internationally acclaimed boxer
The death of a great man of God and faith-based leader
A fight on the floor of Parliament requiring army or police intervention
The death of a presidential aspirant for the 2028 election
Unprecedented prosperity for Ghana with more opportunities for people to earn a living
The deaths of prominent chiefs and a very famous journalist
An unprecedented number of road accidents in Ghana
The deaths of significant figures in Nigeria and the United States
