We will win together in January, by the grace of God – Bawumia

Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said that his expected victory in the New Patriotic Party presidential primaries next month will signal the start of efforts to restore the party to its rightful position.

Dr Bawumia, who is contesting the NPP flagbearership with four other aspirants, has been campaigning actively in the Greater Accra Region as part of his nationwide tour. In appreciation of the strong support he has received from delegates, he shared a message of encouragement on his Facebook page.

While expressing gratitude to the constituencies he has visited and commending party members for their efforts on his behalf, he assured them that the journey ahead is a collective one. He noted that beyond winning the January 31, 2026 primaries, there will be a need for unity and teamwork to rebuild the party.

“Thank you all for the great reception, for the grounds work you have been doing for me and for your continuous support.”

“This is a journey with all and for all; we will win together in January, by the grace of God, to continue with our ultimate mission of working together to restore our great party to its rightful place,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
