Watch what happened to Akufo-Addo’s statue at Sekondi hospital roundabout

The statue of former President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Efia Nkwanta Regional Hospital roundabout in Sekondi has reportedly been destroyed for the second time since the New Patriotic Party left power in 2025.

According to a post on X by Ghanaian blogger CDR Africa, also known as @cdrafrica, the former president’s statue was pulled down to make way for a new monument.

The post, sighted by Da, indicated that construction of the new monument has begun, with a large circular structure erected at the same location where Akufo-Addo’s statue previously stood.
