Kumawood actor dead
Former Kumawood actor Alex Bonsu, popularly known as Gimmy, has reportedly passed away at the age of 47.
The sad news was announced on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, by TikToker Kaakyire ba Dankwaah, who is believed to be a close relative of the late actor. In an emotional social media post, she revealed that Alex Bonsu died on Saturday, January 3, 2026, exactly two years after the burial of their father.
Although the exact cause of death was not disclosed, reports indicate that the former actor had been battling a serious health condition for some time. He was said to have been bedridden and receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the Ashanti Region prior to his death.
