A striking claim has emerged from a study reportedly conducted by marriage experts between February 2020 and February 2022.

The study identified certain professions that were described as unsuitable when choosing a spouse, particularly focusing on women. The professions examined included police officers, nurses, lawyers, TV news anchors, and politicians, with reasons given as to why they may not make ideal wives.

Police Officers:

The study cautions against marrying a policewoman, warning, “Unless you want to rot in jail.” It suggests that such marriages are difficult because husbands allegedly struggle to assert authority. The demanding and unpredictable work schedule of police officers often keeps them away from home. Frequent transfers were also cited as a factor that can destabilize marriages, forcing families to relocate unexpectedly.

Nurses:

Nurses were likened to nuns, with the study describing nursing as a vocation that requires total devotion. According to the findings, constant exposure to pain and suffering may affect their emotional connection at home, leading to reduced intimacy. The study also claimed that close working relationships with doctors could create neglect in marriages, and it controversially alleged cases of inappropriate relationships with patients.

Lawyers:

Female lawyers were portrayed as risky partners in marriage due to their legal knowledge and influence. The study suggested that marriages to lawyers could lead to loss of property, custody disputes, and financial ruin, especially when the lawyer is an activist. Their legal skills were described as tools that could be used to dominate spouses, leaving partners feeling trapped and powerless.

TV News Anchors:

TV news anchors were described as attractive and highly visible, making them vulnerable to wealthy and powerful admirers. The study claimed that this exposure increases the risk of infidelity and abandonment. Differences in income and influence were also said to affect balance and control within such marriages.

Politicians:

Marriages involving female politicians were portrayed as difficult due to the pressures of political life. According to the study, ambition and public demands often overshadow family life, leading to neglect and insecurity. The report also suggested that power struggles and ethical concerns make loyalty and happiness hard to maintain in such unions.

The Exception: Teachers:

Despite the negative portrayal of other professions, teachers were described as an exception. The study claimed a 90 percent satisfaction rate among spouses married to teachers.
