The NPP will bounce back – NPP Communication Director
The Upper East Regional Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, has reassured supporters that the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections does not mark the end of its political journey, expressing confidence that the NPP will regroup and emerge stronger.

The 2024 elections, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saw the NPP suffer significant losses, both in the presidency and in Parliament, raising questions about leadership, strategy, and the party’s future. Despite these setbacks, Mr. Ayinbisa remains optimistic about the party’s prospects.
He emphasized that the defeat is a temporary setback and that the NPP will reorganize, rebuild, and prepare to reclaim power in 2028.
Speaking on Bolga FM’s Zina Yela programme, the Upper East Regional Communication Director, who is seeking re-election to his position, said: “The NPP will bounce back. We are a political party and one family that has stood together for many years.”
