These five sleeping positions tells the sort of relationship you have with your partner
After a long day, everyone looks forward to sleep. It even feels better when you are sleeping beside someone you love. Health experts say people who sleep close to their partners often get better and longer sleep, sometimes close to the recommended eight hours.

Researchers say our sleeping positions can reveal a lot about our emotions and relationships. Below are five common sleeping positions and what they may mean.
1. Spooning
This is when one partner curls around the other from behind. Couples who sleep like this often depend on each other and feel safe together. It shows closeness and comfort because of the physical contact.
There is the “big spoon” and the “small spoon,” but both show care, protection, and trust.
2. Intertwined (entangled)
Here, couples sleep wrapped around each other with arms and legs mixed. This position usually shows a strong emotional bond and deep attachment. It means both partners rely on each other and enjoy being very close.
However, sleeping like this for too long is not always comfortable. It can make breathing difficult and cause joint or body pain.
3. Back to back (after each other)
This position happens when couples sleep facing opposite directions but still close. It often shows that partners want closeness but also need personal space.
Sometimes, it can happen after an argument. It is less romantic and may suggest that passion in the relationship is low at that moment, though it does not always mean there is a serious problem.
4. Head on the chest
Couples who sleep this way are usually very close emotionally. It shows trust, love, and protection. They often see themselves as one unit and support each other strongly.
However, partners should be careful because this position can cause numbness, joint pain, or discomfort if done for too long.
5. Leg hug (leg embrace)
This is when one or both partners touch or wrap their legs together while sleeping. It is not very common, but it says a lot.
If both partners do it naturally, it shows love and balance in the relationship. If only one person is always doing it, it may be time to look at the relationship and see if both partners are giving the same level of care and attention.
In the end, sleeping positions are not rules, but they can give small clues about how partners feel about each other. Communication, respect, and love still matter more than how you sleep…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
