I saw a video trending on social media and I’m sad – Kwesi Pratt speaks on viral IGP FBI badge video
Ace journalist Kwesi Pratt Jnr has raised serious concerns about a viral video that appears to show Ghana’s Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, wearing an insignia similar to that of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Speaking on the issue, Kwesi Pratt said the video circulating on social media has deeply troubled him.
“I saw a video trending on social media which has really made me sad. I have been waiting for two days for the video to be confirmed or denied, but I have not heard anything. The IGP appears to be wearing an American FBI badge on his dress, and I don’t understand why. No one from the Ghana Police Service has denied this. I hope it’s fake, but if it’s not, the implications are huge,” he said during a panel discussion on Peace FM’s morning show, Kokrokoo.
The video shows an emblem on the IGP’s right arm that closely resembles the standard badge of the FBI New York Field Office. This has sparked public debate, with many Ghanaians questioning why the head of the Ghana Police Service would wear such an insignia.
