Frank, you know the way to the courts – Bernard Mornah ‘slaps’ back Ken Ofori-Atta’s lawyer
The Lead Convenor of Arise Ghana, Bernard Mornah, has criticised Frank Davies, lawyer for former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, over comments he believes were aimed at him.

Frank Davies, in a recent interview on JoyNews, cautioned Bernard Mornah against making what he described as unfounded allegations about his client. During the interview, Davies reportedly characterised Mornah’s comments as “pedestrian” and reflective of “poor literacy.”
Responding on the same media platform on January 21, 2026, Bernard Mornah rejected the lawyer’s remarks and fired back.
According to Mornah, Frank Davies has no authority to caution him about his choice of words. He said that if the lawyer believes his statements have harmed his client’s reputation, the appropriate place to seek redress is the court.
“He doesn’t have any right to warn me about the choice of what I want to say. If he thinks I have committed anything abominable, Frank, you know the way to the courts. That has been your mantra, and the mantra should not change.
“If I have said anything that you think is unacceptable, you represent somebody who, in my opinion, has put your integrity into the gutters,” he said.
Bernard Mornah also questioned the integrity of Frank Davies, accusing him of misleading the public regarding the health status of the former finance minister.
He argued that the lawyer should be ashamed of what he described as attempts to deceive Ghanaians.
“You were telling the whole world that your client was sick and that the reason he was not coming to Ghana was because of ill health, and that when he was treated, he would return to Ghana. You should be ashamed and worried that your client is now well and is choosing other routes not to be in Ghana.
“You are not concerned about the reputational issues. Go and review your various media interviews across the country, where you proclaimed that when your client became well, he would return. Even in your latest responses to the OSP and other institutions, you stated that the reason your client was not in Ghana was because of ill health,” he stated…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
