What Kennedy Agyapong said after casting his votes
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed confidence in his ability to unite the party if he wins the presidential primary, despite the tensions and sharp exchanges that have marked the campaign.

Speaking to the media in Assin Central shortly before casting his vote, Mr. Agyapong acknowledged that internal contests are naturally competitive and can sometimes spark disagreements. He emphasized, however, that such moments should not threaten party cohesion.
“I don’t see it as a problem. At the end of the day, we will all come together as one party to work. In any contest, things can get tough and certain words may be used that are not pleasant, but that is part of the process. It does not mean anyone should walk away from the party. If I am declared the winner, I believe I will be able to bring everyone together,” he said.
