Flagbearer Race: Live feed from NPP headquarters

Voting has officially started at the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) national headquarters in Accra as delegates from across the country take part in today’s presidential primaries to choose the party’s flagbearer.

At the party’s Asylum Down office, executives, campaign officials, and accredited delegates arrived early, formed orderly queues, and followed voting procedures under the supervision of electoral officials.

Photos show delegates casting their ballots while party agents and security personnel observe, with officials checking credentials and ensuring that party rules are followed.

Officials on the ground said voting began on schedule, with no major disruptions reported as of mid-morning. Campaign teams were also seen coordinating logistics and monitoring the process.

Results from the various polling centres are expected to be compiled later today, with the official announcement to be made at the party’s national headquarters.

More than 211,000 delegates are expected to vote at over 300 polling centres nationwide.
