Cina Soul cries after Big Akwes threatens to k!ll her and eat her intestines with bread
Ghanaian singer-songwriter Cina Soul, known in private life as Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome, has spoken out after a disturbing comment made by Kumawood actor Big Akwes left her feeling unsafe.

The incident happened during an interview on Bryt TV, where Big Akwes was playing a “Kiss‑Marry‑Kill” game. When asked to choose between actress Vivian Jill and Cina Soul, he said he would marry Vivian Jill. But things took a shocking turn when he said he would “kill” Cina Soul and went on to describe, in detail, how he would summon her spiritually through a mirror, stab her multiple times, and drink her blood.
Cina Soul, clearly shaken by the comment, shared the video on her X (formerly Twitter) handle and tagged the Ghana Police Service and Ministry of Communications. She called for swift action and stated that she felt genuinely threatened.
“I’m deeply unsettled by this. I initially chose not to respond to earlier comments because I do not wish to be associated with this individual, but at this point, I feel genuinely threatened,” she posted. “I may not know the proper channels to report this, but it’s critical we take a firm stance against this kind of dangerous rhetoric being broadcast on our TV and radio platforms. We must not normalise hate.”
Her post has sparked a strong wave of public support. Many have condemned Big Akwes’ remarks and called out Bryt TV for airing the clip.
This isn’t the first time Big Akwes has targeted Cina Soul. Back in April 2025, he criticized her outfit in a dance video promoting her album Did I Lie?, calling it “attention-seeking” and body-shaming her. His comments at the time drew heavy criticism. Max TV, where the remarks were made, later issued a public apology. However, Akwes refused to apologise and instead urged the public to rewatch the clip and “re‑analyse” it.
Calls are now growing louder for both the actor and the media platforms involved to be held accountable.
