Watch the trending video of Two St. Louis SHS students caught hiding in car boot
Authorities at St. Louis Senior High School in Kumasi have uncovered a bold attempt by two female students to sneak off campus by hiding in the trunk of a private vehicle.
The incident happened during a routine security check on a car that had entered the school under the guise of picking up a Bolt ride. Staff members, acting on suspicion, decided to search the vehicle — only to discover the two students tucked away in the trunk.
According to witnesses, one of the girls was dressed in a tight-fitting blue dress, while the other wore shorts and a skimpy top — outfits deemed inappropriate by the school’s code of conduct.
A video of the moment, which has since gone viral on social media, shows a visibly upset staff member demanding that the school’s morning assembly be delayed so the students could be brought forward and the entire student body addressed.
“Video them, look at one of them with an anklet. Shame! Come out! What at all do you want in this world?” the staff member is heard saying in the video. “Let them be brought before the assembly so everyone will see and hear what they did.”
The incident has sparked a wave of public reactions, with many expressing concern about discipline and the influence of social trends on students in boarding schools. Others have called for the school to take appropriate disciplinary action while offering the students counselling and guidance.
St. Louis SHS, one of the prominent all-girls schools in Kumasi, is known for its strict academic and moral standards. School authorities have not yet issued an official statement, but the incident is expected to be handled internally through the school’s disciplinary procedures.
