Watch drama at Agradaa’s church as they hold first service after her imprisonment

It was a deeply emotional scene at the Heaven Way Church on Sunday, July 6, 2025, as members gathered for their first service without their founder and leader, repented priestess Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, following her recent 15-year prison sentence.

With their spiritual head absent, the service was led by her husband, Pastor Angel Asiamah, who stepped in to deliver the sermon.

Pastor Asiamah was seen wiping away tears several times during the service as he encouraged the congregation to stay strong and hopeful.

Many members were visibly emotional—some wept silently, others wiped tears from their faces, while a few lay prostrate on the floor in intense prayer, clearly shaken by the situation.

“Let us continue to pray without ceasing,” Pastor Asiamah urged.

Nana Agradaa was sentenced to 15 years by an Accra Circuit Court, presided over by Justice Evelyn Amoah, after being found guilty of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretences.

Her conviction followed a viral 2022 video in which she promised to double money for people who attended an all-night service at her church in Weija.
