2-month-old baby dies in fire incident at Madina
A devastating fire swept through the busy La Nkwantanang area of Madina in the Greater Accra Region on the evening of July 15, leaving the community in shock and mourning.

Tragically, a two-month-old baby, who was inside one of the containers, lost their life in the blaze.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire was triggered by a gas explosion in one of the shops and rapidly spread to nearby stores, engulfing the area in flames. The scene quickly turned chaotic, with residents fleeing for safety while others desperately tried to save their belongings.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service responded promptly to emergency calls and worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control. Their swift intervention helped prevent the fire from spreading further.
Despite their efforts, the fire caused extensive damage to several properties, leaving many victims displaced and counting their losses.
