Beautiful lady beaten to d3ath by her boyfriend

SOUTH AFRICA – A 28-year-old woman, Ayesha Unam Mamfanya, was allegedly killed by her boyfriend in a brutal case of domestic violence in Gugulethu, Cape Town.

The incident happened on 11 July 2025 and was brought to public attention by the advocacy group Women for Change, which released a statement on Saturday, 19 July 2025.

According to the group, Ayesha was badly beaten and left unconscious by her boyfriend. She was later dropped off at a day clinic and transferred to a hospital for emergency care.

“Her family was only informed the following day, when they were told Ayesha was on life support and in critical condition,” the statement said.

“She sadly died from her injuries on 11 July 2025.”

Family members said Ayesha had been in a relationship with the suspect for two years and had been staying with his family. They also claim there was a known history of abuse.

“According to her family, the couple had been together for two years, and Ayesha was living with his family.

“It is alleged there was a history of domestic violence, with neighbours reportedly hearing her screams.”

The suspect is currently on the run, and no arrest has been made.

“We are devastated by the loss of such a beautiful soul. Another sister has been murdered. How many more until we declare GBV and femicide a National Disaster?”
