After several attempts to collate the disputed constituency result, it did not end successfully.

Following his, the Electoral Commission announced a re-run in some 19 out of 37 challenged polling stations on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Ewurabena Aubynn from the NDC flipped the parliamentary seat to emerge victorious.

She polled 34,090 votes while the NPP’s Akua Afriyie polled 33,881 votes to march herself to the House of Law.

She was thus declared winner by officials of the Electoral Commission at the Greater Accra Regional office on July 11.
