In an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Dr. Adutwum stated that political violence impacts the entire nation, not just one political group, and should not be accepted under any circumstance.

“We want Ghana’s democracy to work. If something happens, it affects the whole country. Violence is not an option. We are in a democracy,” he said.

He stressed the importance of all political stakeholders working together to protect peace and prevent unrest.

“Justifying election violence is harmful. As a nation, we must reach a point where we confront and address it collectively. Blaming one political party won’t help. We all need to come together, or it will affect us in the long run,” he added.

Dr. Adutwum urged Ghanaians to place peace and unity above partisanship as the country gears up for the next general elections.
