Kevin Taylor fooled social media – He is in Tamale not Kumasi

Famous US-based Ghanaian journalist Kevin Taylor has been spotted in the Northern Region, despite earlier claiming he was in Kumasi.

New photos circulating online show Kevin Taylor in Tamale, where he visited renowned Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama at his RedClay Studio. The visit was confirmed by Ibrahim Mahama in a Facebook post.

“Hosted Kevin Taylor and his beautiful family @redclay_studio to see our permanent public collection and most importantly, Barnor on the road. RedClay is admission-free at all times,” he wrote.

This comes after Kevin Taylor sparked reactions on July 29, 2025, by posting a video of himself disembarking from a flight, claiming he had arrived in Kumasi—despite several warnings from residents over previous controversial comments.

However, Ibrahim Mahama’s post appears to contradict Taylor’s claim, revealing that he was actually in Tamale, not Kumasi.
