Here is what the Bank Hospital said about Daddy Lumba’s death 

The Bank Hospital has responded to claims by comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger about the facility breaching highlife legend Daddy Lumba’s client confidentiality.

In the caption of the announcement post on their official Instagram page, The Bank Hospital noted that their attention was recently brought to misinformation circulating about patient confidentiality at the faculty.

“We want to assure our community that we take patient privacy extremely seriously and adhere to strict confidentiality standards,” The Bank Hospital wrote.

In their statement, they clarified statements made by US-based Ghanaian comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger, who tearfully lashed out at the facility for announcing the death of Daddy Lumba before the family could do so.

The Bank Hospital expressed their heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and confirmed that the highlife legend passed away at their family.

“The Bank Hospital joins the nation in mourning the loss of music legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba, who sadly passed away at our facility on 26th July 2025.
