You are witch-hunting me – Paul Adom-Otchere cries on OSP
Former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom-Otchere, has criticised the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s (OSP) invitation for questioning over a revenue assurance audit contract, calling it an act of “witch-hunting.”

In an interview on Joy FM’s Newsnite on Wednesday, July 30, Adom-Otchere argued that the issues under investigation fall under the purview of GACL management and not the board he chaired.
A letter from the OSP dated July 25, 2025, identified him as a suspect in its investigation into alleged corruption and related offences concerning a contract between GACL and a private company.
“My initial reaction would be that there’s a witch-hunt. I just hope that I’m wrong because the issues being investigated are purely management issues—not really a board chairman matter,” he stated.
Adom-Otchere was scheduled to appear before investigators at the OSP’s South Ridge office on Thursday, July 31. However, he confirmed receipt of the invitation and explained that his legal team is unavailable due to ongoing court proceedings in Kumasi.
He has since written to the Special Prosecutor to request a new date and assured that he will cooperate fully once his lawyers are available.
