Rare photos from former NDC Chairman’s funeral

Joseph Ade Coker, the former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), was laid to rest on Friday, August 1, 2025, in a solemn ceremony attended by party leaders, family members, and sympathizers.

The revered NDC figure passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, after a short illness at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra.

Known for his bold views on national and political issues, Ade Coker earned widespread respect, particularly among the grassroots of the NDC. He was first elected as Regional Chairman in 2009 and served three consecutive terms before being unseated by Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore in the 2022 regional elections.
