Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni who will perform the widowhood rite – Daddy Lumba’s Abusuapanin speaks

For close to a week, Ghanaians have been debating on who the legitimate wife of the late music legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, is.

Following his demise, Ghanaians have been asking who will perform his widowhood rites between his two wives, Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni.

While some argue that Akosua Serwaa remains the legitimate wife and should perform the rites as such, others have made a strong case for his other wife, Odo Broni.

Regardless of the ongoing debate, some relatives have provided answers to the question that has lingered on the minds of many Ghanaians.

They indicated that the family head, known in local parlance as Abusuapanyin, will decide on that.

In the video, the two stated that they were not aware of any other wife other than Akosua Serwaa, Lumba’s first wife.
