Veteran highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has stirred fresh waves of emotion online following the appearance of his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, in a heartfelt video mourning his passing.
In footage sighted by DailyNewsGhana, Akosua Serwaa was visibly distraught as she paid her respects at the late musician’s residence in East Legon, Accra. Having flown in from Germany just days after his death, her return added a deeply personal layer to the ongoing mourning.
Seated in quiet reflection, she was overcome with emotion and began to sing Owuo Atu Me Dunsini, one of Daddy Lumba’s iconic tracks from his 1992 Playboy album. The poignant lyrics, centered on death and loss, moved her to tears as memories of her late husband overwhelmed her.
