Stonebwoy subtly reacts to Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini saga

Ghanaian Afrodancehall icon Stonebwoy has become a major talking point on social media following the seizure of Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini Urus by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The incident has reignited interest in an old interview where Stonebwoy referred to Shatta Wale as a “settings man”—a local slang used to describe someone who thrives on shady backdoor dealings. That comment, which was initially brushed aside, has now resurfaced with fresh meaning in light of current developments.

EOCO confirmed in a public statement that the Lamborghini Urus belonging to Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, was impounded due to its suspected connection to a global stolen car syndicate led by Nana Kwabena Amuah. Shatta Wale, along with a former senior officer of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), has been named a person of interest in the case. Though EOCO did not reveal the name of the NSB officer, speculation is rife that it is the former NSB boss, Kwabena Adu Boahene, who is also linked to the purchase of a separate vehicle listed among stolen assets being tracked by the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice.

As the news made waves, netizens dug up Stonebwoy’s old “settings man” jab, sparking a wave of memes and commentary online. Adding fuel to the fire, Stonebwoy posted a seemingly innocuous photo of himself on social media, which many interpreted as a subtle jab at Shatta Wale’s current predicament.

While neither artist has made an official statement addressing the latest twist, the online drama has intensified, with fans split over whether Stonebwoy’s actions were intentional or merely coincidental…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
