A family I worked for locked me up for 1yr, each month they take my blood to give their mother – Libya victim speaks

In an interview with Arise TV, a young woman identified as Mercy Olugbenga revealed that she was locked up for a year, dehumanized, and secretly used for blood transfusions without her consent.

“I was locked up for a year. In my room, they lock the door before going out, they lock the outside door, and the gate before going out,” Mercy recounted.

According to her, she was initially hired to care for her employer’s mother and handle house chores. However, she later discovered that the woman she was caring for was battling kidney problems.

“I was originally there to take care of their mother, apart from the house chores. But along the line, I got to know that their mother had kidney issues,” she explained.

Mercy stated that every month a nurse would come to the house to draw her blood, which she initially assumed was part of a normal health routine.

“So within that period, every month they bring a nurse home to draw my blood. I thought it was their normal routine,” she said.

She later found out that her blood was being transfused to her employer’s sick mother without her consent. When she resisted, things turned violent.

“So later I got to know that my blood matches with their mom’s and they were transfusing my blood to her. So I decided to voice out. I told them they can’t be withdrawing my blood for someone, and along the line, they started beating me,” Mercy revealed…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
