Ablekuma North Rerun: Ghanaian prophet declare winner (VIDEO)
A Ghanaian pastor has stirred conversation with a dramatic prophecy concerning the ongoing parliamentary rerun in the Ablekuma North Constituency between the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Ewurabena Aubynn and the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s Nana Akua Afriyie.
In a circulating video, the prophet, identified as Nana Bediako, shared what he described as a vision from God, portraying the two female candidates in a symbolic race involving white horses.
According to him, in the vision, Nana Akua Afriyie started the race strong, leading ahead of her opponent. However, as the race progressed, Ewurabena Aubynn overtook her and eventually won.
“I see two women sitting on white horses, racing. Akua’s horse started the race well and was leading, but later, I saw that Ewurabena’s horse had overtaken her. The seat belonged to Akua, but in the spiritual realm, things have overturned,” he declared.
The prophecy has sparked mixed reactions on social media and in political circles, with some interpreting it as a sign of an impending upset in what has already been a tense and closely contested election.
The rerun comes after results from 19 out of 281 polling stations during the December 7, 2024, general elections were annulled due to verification issues and disputes between the two dominant parties, the NPP and the NDC.
While the Electoral Commission initially certified 18 disputed polling station results, the remaining 19 were subjected to fresh voting to resolve the impasse. With only a 48-vote gap between the two candidates before the rerun and over 6,800 votes up for grabs, the outcome remains unpredictable.
As the nation watches closely, Prophet Nana Bediako’s vision has added another layer of intrigue and spiritual interpretation to an already high-stakes contest.
