Abu Trica’s last video before his arrest surfaced
Footage has surfaced showing Swedru-based socialite Abu Trica in his last public appearance before his arrest.
In a recently unsealed US Justice Department indictment, Abu Trica—whose real name is Frederick Kumi, also known as Emmanuel Kojo Baah Obeng—was apprehended in a coordinated sting operation involving US authorities and multiple Ghanaian security agencies.
The 31-year-old socialite, widely known for flaunting his wealth on social media, faces charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering conspiracy, and a forfeiture specification, carrying a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years.
The Justice Department alleged that Abu Trica was part of a criminal network targeting elderly Americans in romance fraud schemes.
In videos shared by blogger Nom Trendz on TikTok on December 11, 2025, Abu Trica was seen walking along the roadside after leaving KASS Towers at 15 Senchi Street in Accra.
