African Games: We know their weaknesse – Black Satellites coach on Uganda final

Desmond Ofei, the Black Satellites’ head coach, has given the assurance that his team will give their best effort to defeat Uganda in the final of the 13th African Games men’s football tournament.

The Ghana U20 men’s national team reached the final of the tournament after beating Senegal 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Desmond Ofei stated that his team is prepared exceptionally well for Uganda.

“A final is a final and we are going to enjoy it. For us, it’s a final and we are going to fight. Uganda is a very good team, we have to respect them. I saw them play and their movements with and without the ball were incredible. But we will prepare again and we know them”.

“They have good individual players and we know their weaknesses. We will use our qualities and fight to the end. In the end, we will see what happens”, he said.

With the finals against Uganda coming up on Friday, 22 March at the Accra Sports Stadium, Desmond Ofei’s confidence in his team’s capabilities signals high hopes for Ghana’s quest to claim the ultimate prize.
