The relationship that exists between former President John Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is that of a husband and wife, Chairman Wontumi has said.
The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stated on the newly operated Northern Gold Star TV at Tamale that Mr. Mahama has secretly married Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on the blindside of Mrs. Lordina Mahama.
Chairman Wontumi stated that it is a husband and wife relationship between Mr. Mahama and Prof. Opoku-Agyemang and not a presidential ticket.
“In 2012, Mahama married Naana Opoku Agyemang secretly. It is husband and wife relations between them and they have lied to Lordina Mahama”, he said.
He challenged Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang to explain to Ghanaians how come her marriage to first husband collapsed 20 years ago.
“She moved with her man from Ashanti region to Central region to work at Cape Coast University. When they got there, they got married and she used his name. After twenty (20) good years the marriage collapsed and but she is still using the name”, he said.
